Employee Base |
This provides the essential data for an employee and includes Employee No,
Login details, Department, Job Description and Position, Level and any such data that is essential to identify one employee group from another. By using this data, EmpXtrack can integrate easily with any external employee database. |
Competency & Skill Database |
EmpXtrack has identified a set of 150 competencies with their ratings
and essential characteristics and divided them on the basis of industries. You could use this database to
build your competency set to jump start the performance management process in your organization.
The entire database is available for free with the use of any module of EmpXtrack. |
Job Description Database |
A ready made JD database is available with EmpXtrack that contains
Competency & Skill Levels, Qualification & Experience details and KRAs desired for each Job
Position. This has been developed with years of research into a variety of industries. You
can choose and modify these Jds to meet your organization needs. This is an essential tool in aligning the entire organization in the areas of Recruitment, Performance Measurement, Employee
Development and Succession Planning. The database is available for free with the purchase of select modules of EmpXtrack. |
Rating and Measures |
A variety of rating scales are available in EmpXtrack based on industry best
practices. These could be used directly or modified based on your needs. The ratings and
measures are used in Performance Tracking, Performance Measurement, Training Need Analysis,
Recruitment and Variable Pay. |
Employee Relationships |
Relationships are essential for workflows to progress and EmpXtrack
supports many types of relationships between employees. The product supports the following
relationships: Line Manager, Dotted Manager, Reviewer, HR Manager, Head of Department and Head
of Organization. |
On-line Help |
To allow the effective use of the product and help employees gain knowledge on their own, EmpXtrack supports a comprehensive on-line help on each page of the product. Tips are available against each field to assist in entering data correctly and detailed context sensitive help is available through one-click options. Over 2,700 pages of online help is available in the product for employees and administrators. In addition, Employee Portal allows integration of your companies policy documents (Leave policy, Loans & Advances Policy, Rewards policy etc.) to the product such that it can be accessed by all employees easily. |
Workflow |
EmpXtrack includes an XML based workflow engine that is dynamic (based on
relationships) and role based (based on security). The product supports over 35 workflows and new
ones can be added quickly with minimum effort. The workflow engine uses messaging
components for information exchange and escalations and Security component for access privileges. |
Security and Roles |
EmpXtrack provides database level security and password level access for most
functionality. In addition, it can integrate with Active Directory, LDAP or other role based security standards. In case your organization has an existing portal for employee login, EmpXtrack
provides an SSO component for interfacing with the portal. |
Multi-language Support |
EmpXtrack supports I18N standards for support for multiple-languages. All labels and help messages on each page are stored in property files and can be easily changed based on your language customization requirements. The database has been designed to support multiple languages too. |
